Wells & West General Contractors, Inc. strives to maintain the highest safety and health procedures to ensure all parties involved at a project are safe and in a healthy working environment.
To that end we have a full time in-house Safety Director, Randy Rowe. Randy leads our safety program and is in charge of all training and safety aspects of our projects. Randy’s vast experience in the construction industry, along with his certificates in training, are an invaluable resource. Randy’s certifications include the United States Department of Labor OSHA Training, Safety Training Instructor for the 10 and 30 hour OSHA construction Safety Course, First Aid Certified by the National Safety Association and Hilti Powder Actuated Gun certification.
Weekly safety meetings are held where safety topics are presented for discussion and training. During these meetings we keep the lines of communication open, so that anyone can bring up a topic or concern they may have. Those topics and concerns are then addressed.
Wells & West General Contractors, Inc. provides and enforces the use of personal safety equipment for all workers and visitors to our project site, and requires all subcontractors to meet our same safety standards at all times. All of this has allowed Wells & West General Contractors, Inc. to maintain a 99% rating in our Safety and Health Performance.
The bottom line is that we do not tolerate lapses in safety at our jobsites.
