Phase 1: The construction of the new Inspector’s area downstairs complete with restrooms, conference rooms, and 88 new desks for all inspectors. A new HVAC system was installed complete with a new air-handling unit that had to be assembled after it was moved into the basement. The inspectors and all of their equipment had to be moved to seamlessly maintain an uninterrupted schedule of inspections throughout El Paso County

Phase 2: This phase required us to demolish the old inspector’s area and construct the new plan check offices. It entailed the construction of many new built-in desks and is highlighted by a rounded desk area for walk-thru plan checking. A decorative drop-down “cloud” area with indirect lighting accents the main review area.
